The East Suffolk Rural Youth Project has produced a booklet for young people aged 10-25 living in East Suffolk providing them with details of the support that is available to them in their local community, in Suffolk and online.
The booklet was created in response to data gathered by the project from young people in East Suffolk which showed that many young people do not know what clubs, activities and support is available to them or where to go if they have a specific problem.
It includes sections specific to each of the community partnership areas and wider support on topics such as:
• Mental health
• Physical health
• Education support
• Minority ethnic groups
• Careers, employment and volunteering
• East Suffolk Youth Council
• Youthwatch
• Bullying
• Involvement in crime or gangs
• Experiencing homelessness/at risk of homelessness
• Affected by drugs/alcohol (including addiction within their family)
• Those in the care system
• LGBTQ+
• Neurodiversity
• Young carers
• Grief support
• Advocacy and legal representation
• Healthy relationships
You can access the booklet online by scanning the QR code in the flyer on this page.
